She fixed the kitchen light which when turn on would cause my entire apartment lights to switch off. She replaced the light with LED. The service was very professional, fast and clean. The price was reasonable for the installation of a brand new light. After Laura left I had a small issue as I felt that the light was too bright for my kitchen. I called Mcintosh electrical and they were very friendly and fast in solving the issue. Laura had a very busy schedule, but she took the time to come back and reinstalled another light which I am very happy with the result. I was referred to McIntosh Electrical by Rihann of Beacon Lighting at Gladesville. I was very impressed with the out-of-hours answering machine. Ruth was prompt in responding and helpful in booking an appointment; immediately an SMS was received confirming the appointment. A follow-up SMS was sent advising the approximate arrival time of their electrician. Vince arrived not long after. My sister and I were very impressed with his professionalism, courteousness, helpfulness and friendliness; e.g., offering to remove his shoes upon entering my premises. Installing two ceiling fans with lights, one in my lounge room and one in my bedroom, proved to be complicated process, when initial investigations revealed a gap between my dropped ceiling and the concrete floor above ... Vince explained the situation clearly and patiently. He returned the next day, first thing as arranged and with a colleague to assist him. Using a drop-sheet, they removed my existing light fittings, added ceiling reinforcement as required with all necessary modification and repair, assembled the fans with lights, efficiently and unobtrusively. They tested the fans, gave me instructions via demonstration as well as offering some helpful tips. Afterwards they cleaned up all mess, removed ceiling debris and then vacuumed my floors ... I hear tell that electricians are not known for doing this! I highly recommend McIntosh Electrical and I will certainly use their services again for any future work - thank you Vince and colleague (whose name I cannot remember).

I recently had McIntosh Electrical rewire my Internet. The office staff Ruth and Jenny, Brent who came to quote and tradesmen Vince and Matt were all very helpful and informative. It was a professional job and all up a good experience. Testament to this is that I am having them come back in a month to put in some bedroom lights. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Good service and available at short notice. Installation of our four ceiling fans turned out to be tricky due to limiting existing wiring. But the guys thought it through and came up with a solution that now works a treat. Communicated well, seemed to work swiftly, and also left the place fairly clean. Would recommend.

From the receptionist to the field electrician, this is one of the friendliest and professional firms I have dealt with. The booking process was thorough but efficient and quickly followed up with a confirmation SMS. The electrician (Vince) turned up right on time, was well presented, extremely knowledgeable, great people skills and was equipped with all of the latest tools and parts. In addition, Vince also provided free tips and advice whilst he was here. McIntosh Electrical fixed an LED strip light in my bathroom as well as a downlight in the study. When the new downlight failed they replaced it again free of charge. They were prompt, professional and a pleasure to deal with. 10/10 recommended.

We highly recommend McIntosh Electrical We recently engaged McIntosh Electrical to extend power from the power board to our garage at the rear of our property. Their team did an excellent job completing it in one day. It was a big job which included running cable from the power board to the rear of the house then digging a trench to the garage to accommodate the cable and installing lighting and power points inside the garage. The job was done quickly and efficiently and extra effort was made to conceal any new cabling inside the house. The grass sods were put back in place when the trench was filled in and a general cleanup afterwards was very much appreciated. We highly recommend McIntosh Electrical who have previously done other smaller jobs for us.

Beacons Lighting recommended McIntosh Electrical, and I’d been impressed with Teresa who took my call when I phoned to inquire. She booked the job in quickly, and the tradies who came to my place (Jesse and Tyler) were professional and efficient. They were considerate about mess and making sure I wouldn’t have dust everywhere and, while I don’t know anything about electrical work, they seemed very competent. Professionally installed external lights and auto sensors at a competitive price. We have a heritage listed house so they took extra care and work not to have exposed conduit or wiring. Very happy with their installation,,, they were reliable, on time, made sure everything worked and that the three sensors were positioned and set optimally.
